About us

Welcome to El Mundo de los Repuestos. Anyone who arrives has a right to know what moved us to create the platform.

What buyers do not want to hear

We ran a market study of every kind of vehicle part. We chose 100 questions and surveyed consumers and owners of spare-parts stores. We started with the buyers.

We asked them: when you visit a spare-parts store to get your parts, what answer would you rather not hear? They said “there isn’t any.” Another time they are told “let me call another store to see if they have it,” and so on, only to be sent to those stores knowing it is not there either. They are told it was just taken. Then they are offered one that “does the same job”: something they were not looking for.

Of all the questions, 90% gave us the same answers. The other 10% named something else: prices, and the discomfort of going out to look for a product and not finding it.

What shop owners hate to say

We asked store owners the same question we asked consumers: what bothers you about what you have to tell customers when they come for any kind of vehicle part?

The most annoying thing is telling the customer that the part is not there. That makes them angry, and the shop fears losing them. 70% of many store owners answered this way, because they say the parts are not in their inventories.

What we ask of anyone who publishes

For these and other reasons, every spare-parts store owner who subscribes must upload the complete inventory of all their goods, and mark when parts are original: American, Japanese, Korean, European, and replacements. They must say so the customer can choose the originality of the part they want. That way, when they buy, they go for the safe option and avoid a major disappointment.

From the platform you can search on a phone and on a computer, by opening the link. That makes it easier to look for every kind of part: heavy machinery, appliances, or anything related to spare parts in general. You will find it when the owners decide to use the platform and upload their inventories and goods.

Workshops, brands, and insurers

When a vehicle crashes and the owner takes it to a workshop, the insurer covers the damage. The quotes for that damage are sent to the representatives of the largest brands. Those representatives give workshop owners 30 days, and they take up to 4 or 5 months because they never have the part in their warehouses.

That causes a great deal of displeasure for the vehicle owners. Many of them pay very expensive insurance in order to get a quick answer, and that never happens.

That is why we created this platform: to make life easier for insurers, for representatives of the different brands, for workshop owners, and for anyone who manufactures anything to do with spare parts — air, marine, or any other kind — and decides to upload it.

Who it brings together, and what it does not sell

Without consumers there would be no manufacturers, and much less spare-parts owners. That is why we created El Mundo de los Repuestos. The project is to make it easier for customers to find their parts, whatever the country of origin: in any other country.

The goal and the priority is to unite manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, and, last, consumers.

The platform will not sell any part that spare-parts owners upload. It will be the link that serves the people who use it to serve and promote their goods.

The policy will be strict with anyone who promotes parts here and does not comply with what was set when they decided to use it. By using it, they indicate that they agree with what is established under the laws of our country.
